Jamie Roberts is an Associate Director with Leeward, where he advises clients on governance, compliance, and operational solutions in both traditional and digital finance. A Chartered Accountant with more than a decade of international experience, he specializes in forensic accounting, litigation support, and cross-border asset tracing.
Jamie’s career includes leading high-profile cases such as the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) offshore asset recovery initiative and the forensic investigation into the collapse of the Atom Asset Exchange (AAX) cryptocurrency platform. Before joining Leeward, he held senior roles at Quantuma in the Cayman Islands, the Financial Conduct Authority in London, and global advisory firms Kroll and EY. In these positions he investigated fraud, market abuse, financial misconduct, and major insolvency disputes across multiple jurisdictions.
Jamie is a Certified Cryptocurrency Forensic Investigator and an ICAEW-qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA). He also holds a Graduate Diploma in Law (Commendation) and a First-Class Honours degree in Political Science from the University of Birmingham. An active thought leader, he publishes and presents on financial investigations, cryptocurrency liquidations, and asset recovery strategies.
