Dauna George

Dauna George-Mubangizi is the Corporate Services Manager at Leeward’s British Virgin Islands (BVI) office, where she oversees the delivery of corporate administration services to a diverse portfolio of clients. In this role, she is responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring regulatory and compliance standards are met across structures, and leading a team in the efficient administration of companies, funds, and other entities within the BVI’s offshore framework.

With over 18 years of experience in the BVI offshore financial services industry, Dauna brings deep regulatory, compliance, and corporate expertise to her role. Prior to joining Leeward, she spent 17 years with Abacus Trust and Management Services Limited, a Class I Trust Licensee in the BVI, where she held various positions of increasing responsibility, culminating in her role as Corporate Manager—an appointment approved by the BVI Financial Services Commission. During her tenure, she gained experience in company management, fund/licensee and trust administration.

Dauna’s expertise spans corporate governance, compliance, professional directorships, trust administration, company management, and solvent liquidations, among other areas. She is well-versed in navigating the evolving regulatory landscape and supporting clients in maintaining compliant and well-structured entities. Through her work, she continues to contribute to the strength and integrity of the BVI’s offshore financial services industry. She holds a BSc. (Hons) in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies.
