Anna Beesoon

Anna Beesoon is an Associate Director with Leeward, bringing more than 15 years of experience in fund accounting, governance, and regulatory compliance. She has served as a director on regulated funds and special purpose vehicles, applying her expertise to ensure robust oversight and investor confidence.

Before joining Leeward, Anna was a Senior Manager at IQ-EQ Cayman, where she led the fund administration team and acted as director on a diverse portfolio of investment entities. She previously held senior leadership roles at MUFG Investor Services, managing the fund accounting function and overseeing complex client mandates. Earlier in her career, Anna built broad-based experience spanning compliance, investor relations, and corporate services, equipping her with a holistic perspective on fund operations.

Anna holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting with Information Systems from the University of Mauritius and a Master’s in Professional Accountancy from the University of London. She is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), a member of the Cayman Islands Directors Association, and a registered director with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA). Known for her disciplined approach and cross-jurisdictional fluency, Anna is a trusted advisor to fund boards and institutional managers navigating complex structures.
