Anna Beesoon

Anna Beesoon is a Director at Leeward with over 16 years of experience in fund administration, governance, corporate and regulatory compliance. She serves as a director on regulated funds and Web3 entities, drawing on her experience across traditional and emerging structures.

Before joining Leeward, Anna led the fund administration team at IQ-EQ Cayman and acted as director on a diverse portfolio of investment entities. She previously held senior leadership roles at MUFG Investor Services Cayman, managing the fund accounting function and overseeing complex client mandates. Earlier in her career, Anna gained broad-based experience across compliance, investor relations, and corporate services, equipping her with a well-rounded and practical perspective on fund operations.

Anna holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with Information Systems from the University of Mauritius and a Master’s degree in Professional Accountancy from the University of London. She is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), a member of the Cayman Islands Directors Association, an Accredited Director with the Chartered Governance Institute of Canada and a registered director with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA). 

Known for her disciplined approach and cross-jurisdictional fluency, Anna brings strong governance, effective oversight, and sound decision-making to regulated funds and Web3 structures operating within complex and evolving regulatory environments.
