Vanessa Sparrow

Vanessa is a member of Leeward’s senior management team and serves as Head of Corporate Services. In this role she is responsible for overseeing the establishment and administration of both regulated and unregulated entities across a variety of different structure types, with a particular emphasis on fund entities and foundation companies. Vanessa has worked in the offshore financial sector for the past 20 years and commenced her career in fund audit with the Cayman office of a big 4 firm.

Vanessa has considerable experience in the funds space, having spent over a decade at a leading global hedge fund administrator preparing and reviewing NAV calculations for a complex portfolio of clients; supervising junior team members; and handling new business enquiries and onboarding matters. Vanessa subsequently spent several years managing the same firm’s busy corporate department providing full registered office services. Vanessa has also served in a compliance focused role handling the onboarding of new clients at another Cayman Islands firm.

Vanessa qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2004 and is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Vanessa holds British and Caymanian nationalities and lives permanently in the Cayman Islands.
