Arno Jacobs

Arno Jacobs is an experienced Web3 Manager at Leeward Management Limited, where he spearheads the digital asset administration service business. In this role, Arno manages projects for foundation companies and DAOs, providing critical back-office services that include operations and finance management, treasury management, community outreach, and ecosystem grant administration.

Arno's professional journey is marked by significant expertise in finance and digital asset management. Before joining Leeward Management Limited, he served as a Finance Manager at Monoceros, a proprietary trading firm in the Cayman Islands. His responsibilities extended to financial reporting, strategic planning, regulatory compliance, and Web3 financial strategy, contributing to the company's operations both in Cayman and New York.

Prior to his role at Monoceros, Arno was an Audit Assistant Manager at KPMG in the Cayman Islands. He led audits for large cryptocurrency investment firms, dealing with complex crypto instruments and ensuring regulatory compliance. Arno's career began at EY in South Africa, where he completed his CA(SA) articles and supervised financial statement audits for major clients, including broker dealers and investment banks.

Academically, Arno holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science and a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting Sciences from the University of Pretoria. He is a fully qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) and a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA).
